SGML on the Desktop / 2. Which tools do I use? |
I am not going to make specific recommendations here, but instead try to indicate a few of the things you should think about when you make your decision.
There is a wide variety of SGML tools.
The Whirlwind Guide to SGML Tools categorises
them, and provides outline information.
Many high-quality SGML tools are free, and pointers to these are
collected at the SIL archive of
public SGML/XML software, and in a
free tools section of the Whirlwind Guide.
